-Patagonia Nature Cotton by Araucania, around 30 yards in main color (MC) and 30 in contrast color (CC)
-gauge: 3.5 stitches per inch, 3.5 rows per inch
-finished measurements: 20 inches long and 5.5 inches wide
CO 19 stitches
Row 1- In MC: k3, p1, repeat to end, k3
Row 2- P3, k1, repeat to end, p3
Row 3- Switch to CC: k3, p1, repeat to end, k3
Row 4- P3, k1, repeat to end, p3
Continue knitting stripes in sets of two rows until there are 33 stripes (66 rows), ending with a purl row in the main color.

Sew buttons on back to back and weave in ends. :)
The skull buttons I used are about 3/4 inch wide and an inch long. The round buttons on the backside are about 3/4 inch wide and are actually a little too small for the holes.
I like to wear mine with the P3, K1 side out. :D
